Tuba mute

The straight Tuba Mute (DW5518) is now available with some brand new features.

This high quality mute, which is spun by hand and has a bright hard-anodised finish, is a favourite amongst professional tuba-players for its wide dynamic range and excellent intonation. it is now available with the following new features:

•  A new indent on the base, which gives more stability to the sound in high notes and when awkward fingerings are used.

•   A new leather strap to make it easier to put in and take out of the instrument.

•  A special neoprene 'bumper' strip around the top of the mute to make it easier to put the mute into the instrument silently and to give added protection to the mute.
